I found myself WANTING to buy strange things and amounts of things too. Everyone else was doing it....
Like the inclusion of the farm paper and the little mixer. The banners are a nice element too.
I, too, ended up ordering 25 lbs. of flour. We did bake some bread. I use yeast down our plumbing pipes for the septic tank. I love crescent rolls made with yeast. Love the country background paper.
great journaling. I love the paper you used. love that you scrapped this! It is true panic set in and shelves were empty. I still can't find boxed minute rice anywhere. lol Great lo!
You should see our spare bedroom! Im thinking that we may continue having problems getting what we need later on or if the two of us get sick we wont have to worry quite so much about getting some of the things we need. Its all a guessing game. I think its smart to try to be a bit more prepared for a while :o)Ro
I was proud of myself for not panic=shopping and stocking up on insane amounts of toilet paper, cleaning supplies, nonperishables, and the like. It wasn’t necessary and.I have what I need.... or so I thought. One of my friends was lamenting about the lack of flour and baking supplies available at the stores and even online. I don’t know what happened but I immediately ordered an insane amount of flour and yeast. I don’t actually often bake anything requiring yeast. All is not wasted though. I found that I can bribe my friends with flour and yeast for home-baked goods almost on demand!
