I chose the Fairies theme for this month's pocket letter swap. I knew I didn't have any fairy paper but I remembered having these fairy chippies from Creative Embellishments that I got a long time ago. I wanted it to look magical so I decided to make my own background similar to a card I made about three years ago. I diecut a circle using a scrap of packaging material and attached it to the watercolor paper with washi tape under it. I then did all my inking, stamping and sparkled it up with several colors of Stickles, including yellow to look sort of like fireflies. This is the first time I have made my background, then cut it for a pocket letter!

The fairies were covered with white Gesso, then painted with either liquid pearls or acrylic paints. Stickles were added to the top of that for bling.

The charms on the side can be removed by Robin if she would like to use them for something else.

I have entered this in the monthly challenge at Creative Embellishments, which by coincidence, is a fairy theme!

Special thanks to Carri for the Lavender and Seafoam Stickles.

Flourish stamps are Inkadinkado Artistic Flourish clear acrylic stamps.

Thank you so much for visiting my gallery!
