Very nice heritage LO. I like the layers with the brown Nuvo drops, and the swirls behind the flowers. Also that you added the Pull Out instructions for the hidden journaling card while making it part of the design of the page.
A wonderful photo, beautifully scrapped with the vintage feel. Love the papers (that was a beautiful collection!) and the way you've layered them, along with the sweet handmade flowers and flourishes on the side.
So beautifully done page! The story is sad. Love the wonderful paper, the perfect layering, the flowers and the flourishes. So nice doodle frame around all layers.
I am so glad you found this photo as I had seen no group photos of them at this age - Sad occasion but I'm glad they took a photo. I don't think I've ever seen a photo of Aunt Edith either... Anyway, beautiful page - love the colors and the pretty page design - very nice page - I like how you made the photo corner with the stitching too :)
Photo of my Daddy and his siblings taken in 1957 when they were at the funeral for their oldest sibling. I used some really old Basic Grey papers (Cappella) for this layout. Lots of layering with the different papers. Title work was computer generated and cut with a stitched edge rectangle die. I pulled out some really old swirl dies and cut them from the brown paper. The flowers were punched, doodled on, and curled on the edges. I added a pearl to the centers of all the blooms. Leaves are stamps from the Altenew's Look for the Rainbows set and were stamped on cream paper and colored with Copics. I also added a hand-drawn border around all the layers and brown Nuvo drops around one of the layers. Journaling pulls out from under the mat on the right hand side. Journaling just tells who is in the photo and a little something about my Aunt Edith.
