Give a Cheer
Remembering my first full marathon, October 2017, "The Wineglass Marathon" in the beautiful Southern Tier region of NY. A fun summer spent training with friends, 4 of us training for our first "full". Sometimes the training was hard work and there were definitely days that I was tired and questioning my decision to do such a crazy thing, but it was all worthwhile when I crossed that finish line. Just an incredible feeling. There's only ever one "first marathon" and I am so glad I was brave enough to sign up and see it through to the finish.
Oh and yes, there is a bottle of wine and a wineglass included in the runner's "swag bag".
