On The Road to Hagia Sophia, Mexico

We were lucky to have a small touring van on our shore excursion and got the front seat! We went through the Huatulco National Park on a newly paved highway. We went over the Magdalene River twice and saw a yellow and black manakin (a bird). From the highway, our driver turned on to a deeply rutted dirt road through the jungle. We weren't sure what adventure we were getting into but finally we arrived at our destination, Hagia Sophia, which means sacred wisdom.
