The journaling for this is on the pullout in the upper left corner pocket. The gist of the journaling includes my thoughts of turning another year older, goals I still have, and on lucky I feel to still be able to celebrate my birthday with my parents. Despite the current pandemic situation, impending knee surgery for dad, and mom leaning towards 87, they still make my day extra special. Dad cooked an amazing salmon dinner (my favorite), my mom made my favorite rice dish, they went to mall to shop (b/c online shopping is challenging!) and, in their usual form, made me laugh All in all, I have absolutely nothing to complain about and am thankful for them and all of my good fortune.
