Most of the time I am at a loss as to a design for childrens birthday cards and when I went to make a card for my great-nephew, that was no exception. I wondered what color to use and what design. I went through my drawer that holds 4x6, 6x6 and 8x8 pads and found this 6x6 pad in there that I purchased at Marshall's several years ago. It's called Making Memories Poolside & Greenhouse Paperie. (Half is blue and half is green). (I can't believe they actually list it here!) So, I went through and chose 4 different colors/prints. I then decided to cut tags in four sizes. Tag dies from Aliexpress. Then I thought I would make pockets to slide them in. So I used the scraps left from cutting the tags. I decided to fancy up the pockets a bit by diecutting one edge with my Spellbinders Borders Bracket One. I was originally going to have the tags straight down in the center, but after I did my stamping I realized the second tag would block off some of the "10th" so I decided to stagger them. I used my tape runner along the bottom and sides of the pockets and laying my tags down on the wrong side, also taped a pocket so they wouldn't slide around in transit. I then used three of the left over scraps from the border pockets to go around the top and down the sides. When I got the tags in the pockets I decided it needed a little something more so I went through my stickers and found these foam gold stars and decided to use them on it too. I also inked around the edges of the tags and pockets using VersaMagic Spanish Olive. I really like how this card turned out!

Stamps used:
Ms. Sparkle & Co. Alphabet (Joann's) (two fonts)
Inkadinkado Gemstone Alphabet (for the number 10)
HOTP Birthday Greetings (Birthday)
Stampabilities Alphabet (Hobby Lobby) (Dear)
