Journaling reads:
A good woman is hard to find, but a good woman that’s a barber too is one in a million.

For as long as I can remember, Mama was the family barber. She always cut Daddy’s hair, what there was of it anyway. She would get so put out with him, because he would do this little snap with his mouth – like he was going to bite her. No matter how many times she warned him that she had sharp scissors in her hand, he always did it. LOL! She cut my hair for years, too. I can still remember her gentle touch as she would lift sections of hair to cut… I’ve never had a beautician with such a soft touch. And, she gave me some of the best haircuts I ever had. Circa 1985

I made the "barber" pole by punching some white circles and adding them to the ends of a navy rectangle, then added a couple of white strips for detail. I used the red/white striped "B" to give it the effect of a spinning part. The gears are all punched. Also I added some punched borders. Thanks for stopping by :)
