I made this card for my brother's girlfriend's daughter. She is turning 9. He is a scientist and enjoys doing science experiments with her. I was excited to find a girl doing science experiences that said "Super Scientist" on Ebay. I colored the stamp in with felt pens. I stamped the bottom part of the stamp that had the saying on it on paper that I rubbed my ink pad over and outlined with my felt pen. I used adhesive to lift the saying and Happy Birthday. I printed the periodic table off the internet and placed it inside the chalkboard. I have had school paper forever and was glad to finally have a reason to use it. The Happy Birthday and gems were from a birthday card my Uncle gave my grandmother 2 years ago. I ran different ink pads over the card to create the background. The side is scrapes of balloon paper that I had that I further cute to be able to place on both ends. I am super excited to be able to give her a card that encourages her to keep doing what she loves.
