First Visit from Santa

Journaling:
Gran and Grandad came over for Christmas Eve dinner before we all went back to their house to spend the night. Just before dinner we got a BIG surprise…Santa Claus stopped by to visit us! Justin was 19 months and was just beginning to understand who Santa was. Jake was 6 months old and had no clue, but didn't seem to be afraid of him. Justin really warmed up to him when he realized Santa brought presents! He even brought string cheese (which was Justin's favorite snack at the time), and brought Mama the George Strait movie “Pure Country.” Santa couldn't stay very long – he had a LOT to do that night and would be back to visit us again when everyone was asleep. It's just too bad Grandad missed Santa's visit. He had just left to run to the grocery store for us before dinner! Oh, well. Maybe Santa will come again next year! 12-24-1994
