I thought I would get a head start on my August birthday cards. I have five guys to make for in August and one gal, which I think I will send the G45 Flutter card I recently posted to her!
This simple layered card is made from Blue Fern Studios Eclectic Charm and the card base is a scrap left over from another project. The other three layers are journaling and ephemera from the collection, that I had already cut into also. I didn't realize until I used the sweet phrase, that the quote is by Winnie the Pooh! I love it!
I didn't want to cover up the key that is printed on the card base so I did some paper folding with the second layer and paper rolling with the third layer!
I inked all the edges with VersaMagic Jumbo Java and just added a couple of metal pieces to the bottom. I think those came from Amazon.
I circled the month and date of my cousin's birthday. He is the oldest of all of us cousins and I am the youngest of our living cousins.
