So this card is for another cousin, the younger brother to the first cousin card I posted a few days ago. They both have August birthdays.
This cousin works for a winery in California and I ran across this paper in one of my Colorbok Vintage Treasures paper collection and thought that would be perfect for him. Then I remembered having some wine corks in one of my drawers and found end pieces that I had cut off for a wine cork trivet Christmas tree I made for my sister in 2017. I thought I might stamp on them but didn't think it would turn out too well so I got out my stickers and decided to use the phrase "celebrate". It is a simple card, but I really like it!
I inked the edges of the paper with Tim Holtz Aged Mahogany (sort of like a wine color!). After I glued the paper to the card base and added my cork letters I then sprayed it with TH Distress Mica Spray Antique Bronze. The second picture shows the shimmer from the mist.
