Very smart of them to make sacramental wine during prohibition. I never thought of that before! And then now to make olive oil. Sounds like this place will be around for a long time, since they adept and go with the flow! I like the wooden background.
Feb 28th - Off to visit a new winery today - Val Verde Winery, the oldest bonded winery in Texas. It survived Prohibition (1919-1933) by producing sacramental wine for churches. Not just wine now - in 2007 olive trees were planted & a few years later the 1st vintage of olive oil was bottled & released.
