Photo of my DIL with my DGS taken in 2007. I did a lot of this layout on the computer and then printed some of it on a white Bazzill background (title work, arrows, and blue border.) I also created the "Life" strip with the Silhouette program. The gold embellies were cut with the Cameo. I cut a piece of acetate (from a 12 x 12 piece of acetate)and used my paper piercer to punch holes to make a border around the edges. I "framed" the photo within the top borders, and the "Life" strip within the bottom borders. Gold star embellies are popped up with foam tape. Journaling slides behind the clear mat and photo and reads:

Allen, just so you know…there’s nothing wrong with being a Mama’s boy! A boy who loves his mama is a treasure. Even as you’ve grown older (and you’re almost 16 now!) you’re still a Mama’s boy! Of course, you can’t cuddle up on her like you are in this photo….since you are so much taller and bigger than she is now. I’m sure she still appreciates a special hug and kiss from her first Mama’s boy! Photo – October 20, 2007 Journaling August 3, 2020.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
