This card was very easy to make. Hardest part was choosing the paper! Layering dies make cards so easily...just cut and assemble with a little accent color or bling. I am part of a group of ladies who make cards for residents in a Tampa nursing home. Cards like this are perfect because they can adapt to so many sentiments.
Thanks for your good wishes. My illness is not curable...but NOT terminal, thank God! I just have to go with the flow from day to day. I don't leave the house because my meds have compromised my immune system...that leaves me together with my cards. So great to have a hobby like this!
I have been captivated by layered floral cover dies. I like these quick cards with stunning results. Having flare ups of a chronic illness, I am sometimes unable to spend as much time as I would like in my craft room. Making cards is what keeps me going. For now, these dies are a way to keep my creativity active until I am once again able to spend longer periods of time at my craft desk. For this card I found a smaller set of dies on line. I used cardstock from my stash and added some shadows to the printed paper with a Copic marker. I added some glitter to the centers of the flowers.
