Your LO is amazing!!! Don't be so hard on yourself, it is truly a work of art. I love how you stamp so many things on your papers. I might have to use that idea!
Your LO caught my eye in the gallery. Maybe not what you were going for, but I like all the elements you added. Your colors pick up the colors in the city skyline.
Mixed media layout-Prague. Ok this is not my favorite layout I've created. I actually think I added the peacock feathers distress oxide too much. I feel it should have been lighter through the stencil so it kinda faded into the background. At least that was what I was going for but it didn't turn out that way. Anyway, the paper was prep'ed with clear gesso, stenciled with paper texture paste through a Stamperia stencil which was then colored with a mixture of distress inks to give a rust color: rusty hinge mixed with barn door, small amount of walnut stain, and water. Used a Tim Holtz layering stenci, gothic, with peacock feathers and stamped with Holtz fragments stamp in blueprint archival ink. I also stamped with black archival ink using the ledger Holtz stamp for more texture and depth and red numbers stamp from Holtz. The pic frame was cut from circuit and light chipboard, embossed with gold embossing powder and prima wax added to it. The circular medallions are paper clay from a prima mould painted with prima arcylic paint and some of the green prima patina paste followed by the gold paint from the prima patina set in the center. Tim Holtz die cut trims were also used for some of the embellishments out of colored cardstock.
