I did a little different background on these two using the "swinking" technique. That term cracks me up.
On the left card, I had saved a piece of cardstock that I diecut flowers out of for a layout, thinking I would just use it as a stencil. I placed it on the white background and just wiped different ink pads over it and this is what I came up with. After I got them done, I took another ink pad and lightly went over it all. I like the look of how it turned out.
I then browsed through my stickers and ran across this old K & Company sticker and thought it looked good with the background. I offset it to show off the floral background, stamped my phrase and then added some pink chunky glitter glass from Reneabouquets to a few of the centers. The rest I added Finnabair Berry Micro Beads from Carri (thank you!).
Inkpads used: Memento Lulu Lavender, Rose Bud, VersaMagic Purple Hydrangea, Perfect Plumeria and Spring Pansy as well as Dew Drops Brilliance Pearlescent Lavender.
On the right I applied VersaMagic Night Sky, Turquoise Gem, Sea Breeze and Hint of Pesto. I just used a swirly design on the background for a unique look.
Bouquets is old Jolee's Boutique. I finally used those up!
Thank you so much for visiting my gallery. I hope I inspire you to try a new (or old, depending) technique!
