Awesome!!! I love how you achieved the background. You did an amazing job using stamps. inks and metallic powders. It DOES mimic the wall that your daughter is painting.
Mixed media layout: The wall was an inspiration for this page. I love the top photo of my daughter, her expression and body position tells the entire story. So I decided to stamp the background to enhance the photos. I wanted the background to look like a graffiti wall. I also added some stenciling with paper texture paste first and stamped over it with varies text Tim Holtz text stamps and colors of distress ink and oxide. If you look closely at the photos, you can see doodles of animals, etc. in black. So I decided to take some small stamps and added "doodles" with black archival ink. I took the KW chipboard pieces and embossed with metallic silver powder. The remaining embellishments were things I had sitting around on my table that I decided to use to added more interest to the page. The tag...creatively takes courage...is stamped on white cardstock. I did add another sentiment below later from the Tim Holtz snarky set (not shown in the image)...
