For my 8x8 album of things that make me happy. I look tired because this was at the end of a 4-hour paddle and it was hot-hot-hot. (It was supposed to be a leisurely float but I decided to follow some boats to see where (and) why they always go in the same direction. Turns out, it’s because the water I’m on leads to a much much bigger river. I got close enough to see the mouth of the river then realized how far I was from my launch point. Good grief! Didn’t think I’d ever make it back! (I did.)
