Unfortunately, this die is defective. The vendor refunded me the money for it and didn’t ask me to return it. There are a couple of places the die does not cut at all and a couple more that need the help of scissors to complete the design. The areas that don’t cut are extremely tiny, and I couldn’t really cut them with scissors or even an Exacto knife. Then I remembered my Coluzzle knife. Remember those? It has a tiny blade that swivels. I was able to save some of the die-cuts. They were not perfect; however, after adding glitter or embossing powder, you really can’t tell. (I plan to replace this die when I can find a good sale again.)

The Elizabeth Craft Design Silk Microfine Glitter is more subtle than the Advantus Extra Fine Glitter, but it stays put better. The Advantus glitter is very sparkly, but it never stops shedding.

1st CARD:
4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110-lb. cardstock (card base)
Bazzill dark blue 80-lb. cardstock (die-cut) (It looked black after heat embossing with clear embossing powder.)
Creative Expressions Paper Cuts Clematis Edger
Versamark Ink
Ranger Clear Superfine embossing powder
Judikins Mattekote cardstock & Kaleidacolor Riviera ink pad applied with a brayer (background)

2nd CARD:
4 ½ x 6 ¼ inches
International Paper Opaque Digital White 120-lb cardstock (card base)
Creative Expressions Paper Cuts Clematis Edger
Aleene’s Tacky Permanent Spray Adhesive
Elizabeth Craft Design Silk Microfine Glitter, Cool Diamond
Unknown textured green cardstock (background)

3rd CARD:
4 ½ x 6 ¼ inches
Bazzill dark blue 80-lb. cardstock (card base)
Creative Expressions Paper Cuts Clematis Edger
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110-lb. cardstock
Aleene’s Tacky Permanent Spray Adhesive
Advantus Extra Fine Glitter, Crystal Diamond

Note: The Creative Expression Paper Cuts Edger Dies are designed to die-cut the vertical edge of the card front. However, many of them are too long to go through many die cutting machines sideways. My Cuttlebug has a 6-inch wide platform, and this die is over 6 inches long. I found a good video with a tip for getting around that problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3omK8FJ4WUE. I didn’t do that here, but I am definitely going to try it out.

TFL.
