Wonderful layout - I hope there are more pages to show more things in this park! I have to tell you, I really appreciate you typing out your journaling - makes it so easy to read! Sometimes its just too small to read on the layout here but your tying it out makes it so easy! Thank you! This layout really has an "out west" feel to it!
Oh my gosh, I really need to wear my glasses when scrolling through posts. I got excited because I thought I saw bread-making. Love your journaling and that you took photos while at the Visitors Center (I always forget to do that). Love your paper choices and that Big Bend embellishment!
Journal: Finally arrive at the Visitor Center. There is also a post office & gas station in the complex. The 1st thing we see is the topographic map of the park. It is free standing so you can walk around it. Then we go see the 24 minute movie - interesting. This is a land of enormous vistas & contrasts with geological marvels, historic treasures & an amazing diversity of plant & animal life across its dramatic range of elevations. The lowest point is 1,850 feet in Rio Grande Village in the East and the highest is Emory Peak at 7,825 feet. After buying postcards & a hiking map we are ready to explore! April 17, 2018
