Hi everyone! Sharing a simple card I made from scraps for my soon-to-be 91 year old aunt in CA. Normally, I try to make a fancy card for her, but I ran out of time so I just grabbed my DCWV Primrose Stack, which is pretty much nothing but scraps (save for two whole sheets). The bottom piece and music piece just above it are from scraps. The circle and bird in a cage are ephemera from the collection. I rounded the corners, inked all the edges with Memento Rhubarb Stalk, Potter's Clay and VersaMagic Hint of Pesto.

The other day I got a new stamp set at Hobby Lobby called Kelly Creates Floral Stamps that are so dainty and detailed and used them on this card to dress it up a bit. I used Hint of Pesto on the leaves and Versafine Onyx Black on the floral corner on the music paper. I then inked in the flowers and leaves using an eye shadow applicator and again, Rhubarb Stalk and Hint of Pesto. I thought, well, it needs something more, so I added the gold corners, Reneabouquets Butterfly Kisses and dark red Microbeads, also from RB. Applied it to my card base and that's it! Oh yes, I circled the 17 since that's the date of her birthday!

Have a great weekend and thank you for visiting my gallery!!
