Mixed media layout: Krakow churches. I took some Basic Grey paper and coated with clear gesso and some white gesso in specific areas. On the white gesso, I used a brick stencil from Tim Holtz with distress inks and oxides to try to minic the bricks in the churches. I stamped over the stenciling and background with archival black ink and Tim Holtz stamps. The circular medallion is paper clay painted with prima metallic paint and metallic wax added on top. The butterfly is from Tim Holtz flutter collection, stamped on white cardstock and painted with Lindy's magicals. There are ephemera from Tim Holtz collection added near the dusty attic chipboard that was coated with white gesso before adding a mixture distress embossing glazes: fired brick and hickory smoke. Finally, I stamped some leaves from a Altenew collection on vellum and embossed with black embossing powder to place behind the butterfly.
