Approx 8 yrs ago this was a 39 yr old business called O'Brady's. A hamburger and ice cream joint. Then the state wanted the land to increase the hiway size so long story and battle later, Susie Brady lost and the state's imminent domain won. The state offered her less than 1/3 of what the business would sell for. All those overgrown weeds were her parking lot. What a sad story especially since she incurred over $100,000 to fight WA state.
The sign says it all " 5th Ammendment: No person shall be ...derived of life, liberty, or Property without due process of law. Nor shall private property be taken for public use without just compensation.
