Give a Cheer
Mixed media layout that was supposed to be a traditional layout. Oops. So I didn't clear gesso this paper...I should have! The paper is stamperia that I colored the edges with oil pastels and stenciled in the background with distress oxide. I used another flourish stencil to add some nuvo mousse. The chipboard circle dreamcatcher was embossed with gold powder and glued to white cardstock. Then distress embossing glaze was added to the openings. The butterflies were stamped with archival ink onto water color cardstock and colored with oil pastels. Oil pastels were used to color the flower embellishment as well. Distress oxide and some oil pastels (watered down) were used to dye the cheese cloth that is under the chipboard and flower embellishments. I also added some thread under the flower embellishment and the butterflies.
