Nice LO. I have yet to get a photo of a road runner even though we see them occasionally. Usually it's so quick, we're left asking if it really was one.
At the end of the day we saw a roadrunner - first time IRL. I have always liked this bird but had never actually seen one. I think they are quirky looking and that appeals to me. Note - the grasshopper that was on a previous page had fallen off when I went to put it in a page protector. I usually do that at least once a week to protect my pages. I could not find it! So I picked another chipboard piece that would match - a green and brown mushroom and used it. Then a couple of days later I moved my 3 shelf wheeled cart and there the grasshopper was! And it it perfect for this page as roadrunners eat lizards and bugs. Since I didn't get a picture I used a postcard and a photo from the Internet. I stamped an arrow on the other photo to show where we saw him.
Journaling: The hike back to the parking lot didn't seem to take as long and we got to the car in good time. While sitting there drinking water, I noticed a bird on the ground by the trail. It was a Roadrunner - my 1st sighting! the the time I got the camera out he was gone.
pp - Echo Park, Simple Stories, chipboard & stickers - Simple Stories, alphas - Doodlebug, stamp - Autumn Leaves & Tim Holtz (arrow), ink - Tsukineko & Tim Holtz. I used chalk ink on the journal card.
