I made this card for my sweet sis-in-law in CA who surprised me with a package last week that contained three boxes of my favorite store bought candies (See's Candies) in 2-lb., 1 lb. and 1/2 lb. boxes. The 2 lb. box was their variety, the 1 lb. of the my absolute favorite, Bordeaux, and the 1/2 lb. of all truffles. Also in the package was 5 old cookbooks that belonged to my Mom. It was such a wonderful surprise! So, I had to make her a lovely thank you card.

I used BFS Bird Waltz paper. Special thanks to Marylou (Meggie'sNana) for the "thankful" and honeycomb diecuts, Jess (Jess E) for the lovely lace with ribbon, Robin (RobandTim2) for the pearls and Kelly (KVRLVN) for the flourish diecut.

I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Spray in Mermaid Laggon and TH Distress Mica Spray in Tarnished Brass on the "thankful" diecut as well as inked around the edges with TH Walnut Stain. On the honeycomb I used Stampendous Aged Silver embossing enamel. I also inked around the card edges with TH Vintage Photo. I raised the thankful diecut up with foam circles.

I used Stardust Stickles on the flower centers and Wink of Stella on the fussy cut butterflies.
