Aww, you guys look fab! Love that chandelier tag! I like your idea of inking it in red ink. I don't know what you plan for your journaling, but girlfriend, I clearly see a couple puttin on their "nice" face and gearin up to get "naughty" later, heh! Puttin yer best faces forward for Santa at the party, eh, LOL?!?!
I agree... I would lose the large dot pp, and go with solid black and a small amount of b&w mini dotted paper. Love the tag...journaling on it would be perfect. Gorgeous pics! This layout is really going to look wonderful when you're finished, but go with YOUR instincts, OK?
How did you get Keanu Reeves to pose for these pics? I like the concept of making the whole LO match your dress, but it is a little distracting. I think I would have kept the concept and gone with a tiny blk/white polkadot PP. That way, your big circle tags would have been a bit more pronounced. I didn't even see your little "or" tag until I had looked at the pic about 5 times. It's burried and needs to be more prominent I think. I don't like the paper clip so close to you in the pic on the left, I would re-position it somewhere else or loose it. Brenda, honestly, the more I look at it I just think you need to loose those big dots and go with a smaller dot paper. I think that if you laid everything you currently have on a different BG it would work much better. I love the pictures and I just feel that they are getting lost in here. I know that it's mainly glued down so feel free to tell me to F-off at any time...
I love that dress!! And that naughty is to cute. I almost missed both tags, it could be that I have a somewhat bad glare on the screen, but they kind of blend in to much. I would add journaling to the chandelier tag and then maybe mat it to make it pop. I also like K's idea. Great job on the challenge!!
For the chandelier tag, i'd add a red ribbon in the eyelet, and either stamp a title or hand write some journaling. i wouldnt really ink the edges, just because the rest of the LO is so sharp.. i think everyitng else looks great
I LOVE your dress! I know I said that before, but I had to say it again.Keep the tag and ink it with red. You can journal there. You can put brads on the tags with the silver rims. You two are great looking couple!
Great LO, love where this is going. I would say ink the tag in red, maybe find a ribbon with a mixture of the colors used here? What significance does the cherries have to this LO? <kinda afraid to hear the answer, LOL> I think this lo is going to look awesome next to the other featuring this dress!
I love that chandellier tag...I would defintely use it and journal inside it! I like how you made the background match your dress. I love how you two match, grant and I are always doing that. Makes such great pictures :)
HI Brenda!
I see red scallop doodles on all the tags inside them {Like once outlining the shape of the tag}. I looove that chandelier tag and I am a big fan of handwriting so I would add that in. Or maybe oooh .. I can picture a title stamped in there.
Did I mention what a hot couple you are?
The dress is back! I used it as inspiration to make the background. I've got two-in-one for challenges here with the circles and tags...
Almost done, but looking for suggestions. All items glued down except main pic (currently held in place by paper clip), top tag, and tags with silver rims.
I have a few questions about this one: I really wanted to use the chandelier tag I got on clearance from Old Navy. Should I mat it in red, ink the edge with red, or ink the edge with black? What color ribbon should I use for the tag? Any ideas as to what kind of text/title I should put on the tag? The tags with the silver rims, should I do anything else with them?
This page will be going to the left of the Holiday Party lo I submitted for the circle challenge. Please disregard the askew scan 'n' stitch job down the center.
