Give a Cheer
Squeakers is the epitome of creature of habit. Promptly at 11 pm, if Im not upstairs crafting, he comes halfway down the stairs and meows incessantly. Then he paces near the bathroom because he knows its shower time (and that necessitates inspecting). After the shower, puttering around and a final hour or so of crafting, he sits up and from his fluffy cat bed he meows again. (At this time, SamSam is either plopping his butt down on my project, trying to get on my lap before just all out shoving me off my chair.) As I crawl into bed and get my covers all in order, Squeakers goes from one vantage point to another (aka my pillows) and, once Im under the covers, he pokes and smushes his face against mine until I lift the covers up and he can curl up right by my side. After at least one turn about under the covers, he is then ready for Step 2 of the Bedtime Ritual....To be continued.
The background got away from me. In the end I was just jabbing a ball of paper toweling on the surface (causing the splashing). I like it though.
