Our lives are normally chaotic and 95% percent of the time, I can handle it with no problems. I tend to enjoy the rollercoaster and adventure that comes with it. But the last 5 months have taken its toll on me. I know things are hard on everyone with covid-19 and that alone completely sucks. So far, I've had 2 surgeries, I lost my Dad in June (totally non-covid related), my husband and mother both had surgery and switched apartments. I'm totally over 2020.
I rejoined the Music Inspiration Challenge for October. I had participated in it since it's beginning in September 2015 but I stopped in January because I felt burned out (plus we moved cross country again). I've followed along a few times but didn't sign up until now. I really missed it. My song for this month is "Chicken Fried" by the Zac Brown Band. I have no idea what the song is about. I didn't listen to it or even read the lyrics. I just knew I wanted to use the word "Fried". I did have help on this layout - my 16 month old cat Mittens "helped" me stamp, he knocked my hand away and I stamped crooked. He ate the liquid glue, played with his favorite toy (my paper trimmer), chewed the corners of the paper and laid across my paper. He's my favorite furry scrappy buddy!
I used my July Felicity Jane kit for everything but the word "Totally". I stamped that word with a Cocoa Daisy stamp set.
