Photos of my DGS, Allen, playing with the Freshmen football team at his high school. I used a solid red card stock for the background. I cut the helmet, football, title letters, arrow, red circle and the info tag with the Silhouette Cameo. I also used the trace and offset functions in the Silhouette program to trace and cut an outline of the helmet and football on the white card stock so that I could inset the embellies. I added a pen stitched border with a white signo pen. The journaling is tucked behind the middle photo and reads:

Allen, I really enjoy watching you play football. You were so excited to join the team when you entered 9th grade. You made the Freshman team and was a starting guard on the “O” Line. That meant that you got to play a LOT. This year (2020) you're on the JV team, but have been bumped up to Varsity to dress out with the team – even though you haven't gotten to play in a Varsity game yet. Of course, this year has been super crazy and a LOT of the games have been cancelled due to “covid”. I hope next year will be a much better football season for you!
