We disembarked our ship and waited for our tour guide for the shore excursion. As we waited we enjoyed a folkloric dancers, ladies in brightly colored dress and had our first good look at the port. We boarded a wonderful tour bus and drove the countryside. The houses were damaged but each of them had a swimming pool. Our guide told us the area was hit very hard by Hurricane Stan and everyone is just starting to re-build. Being a Floridian, I sympathized with them.
