Journaling: One of the most popular attractions in the Cypress Island Natural Resources Conservation Area, Cypress Head campground provides stunning views of the Bellingham Channel and Mount Baker. Cypress Head has beautiful campsites tucked on the low sand bar that connect the island to the head and beautiful sites tucked into the trees.
Once we made the landing in mid-afternoon we pulled the kayaks to the sandy isthmus and started to unload. We found a beautiful spot on Cypress Head that faced east towards Guemes Island.
