Mixed media box: I made this from a simple chipboard box. Basically, I added Stamperia paper clockworks to the outside and inside drawer of the box. I added white gesso to the sides and bottom of the drawer that don't show and painted it. That was a challenge to get the right color, Ugh. the bottom is just the base color of the sides but on the sides that don't show I stamped and added some distress spray speckled egg. The outsides of the drawer were stenciled with paper texture paste, stamped and embossed with white powder, and colored with lindy's magicals as well as part of the top and sides of the top. Clock and gears were painted with black gesso and then made to look like they rusted with prima rust paste. The corner metal pieces were painted with an acrylic paint and covered with prima metallic wax. The knobs were also painted with black gesso first before metallic wax was added. The flowers color was changed to match the box with lindy's magicals. I also covered the hole in the top with heavy clear plastic paper I had in my stash.
