My scrapping friend Kay (Oklynne) and I did a private pocket letter swap and some of the extras she sent was the 6x6 Blue Fern Studios Eclectic Charm papers. I absolutely LOVE that paper collection and made at least four layouts this year using the 12x12 collection as well as several cards.

I used one of the 6x6 cards she sent me to make this card for a niece in CA. It has a lot of empty space to work with so I decided to use my Tim Holtz Wildflowers die set to make a bouquet. I was just going to put a bow around the stems but I love some cards that Vicki (CrimsonMama) made using a watering can to hold the bouquet. I don't have a watering can die so I had to freehand draw it on a scrap of cardstock and fussy cut it out. I embossed it with Stampendous Aged Silver and really like how it turned out looking antiquish!

I cut the flowers using an off-white parchment print cardstock from HL. I prefer off-white or cream if I plan to ink them in. For the leaves and stems I used VersaMagic Hint of Pesto. For the flower centers I used VM Gingerbread. The daisylike flower is inked in with yellow Rubber Stampede (those little 1" square pads) and I went around the edges with Memento Rhubarb Stalk. The flower on the left I used Memento Paris Dusk and the largest flower I used VersaMagic Eggplant mixed with Memento Rhubarb Stalk.

Stamped my phrase, added pearl strands under it and what was left on my watering can. Butterflies are Reneabouquets!

Apparently the site doesn't have the Tim Holtz Wildflowers #1 die set anymore...

Thank you so much for stopping by!
