Birthday card using Tim Holtz stencil

This card is for an elderly neighbour who loves her roses.

I used my TH stencil and some white texture paste, then covered it in embossing powder and heat embossed it, after it had dried. For the background, I mixed two Cosmic Shimmer watercolour paints ( Cosmic skin and Pearlescent). I embossed the sentiment on vellum, using WOW! Black Magic. The shiny border is from an old peel-off sheet, I just had enough left to go all the way round.
