Hi everyone! Halloween is here! Let’s create it! I’m Celes from GuiadeManualidades.com and today we are going to make… a coffin shaped mini album. Yes! A very special and funny project to keep all the memories from next Halloween. Your instant camera is ideal for this project.

The Boo Crew Collection is so beautiful. It’s scary but so sweet at the same time… I love it!

First thing to do is to cut all cardboard pieces. For the coffin shape you will find a cutting file (.FCM for Brother ScanNCut, .SVG for other cutting machines, .PDF to print and cut by hand. The final size of my project is approximately 8 1/4” h x 4 3/8” w. Remember to check the size of the cutting files/PDF/SVG before cutting all your pieces.

You will need two pieces of the coffin shape and one of 1 1/2” h x 2” w. To cover all of them I used the textured cardstock "Charcoal" paper.

Besides, I made a basic spine. For making it cut a piece of textured cardstock "Pumpkin" paper of 1 1/2” w x 7 3/4” h. Then you have to scored it in 1 ½”, 2”, 2 ½”, 2 3/4”, 3 ¼”, 3 3/4”, 4”, 4 1/2”, 5”, 5 1/4”, 5 3/4”, 6 1/4”. As a result you are going to have a classic spine with 4 hinges.

Glue all pieces together to make all the mini album structure.

Choose 8 patterned papers and cut 8 coffin shapes. You will find a smaller cutting pattern. Use it for this. Besides, cut 8 coffin shapes in white cardstock. In this case, use the same cutting pattern that you use to cut the cardboard.

For the cover:

I love this! Look for any kind of creative paste and the stencil of this collection. We are going to use it to decorate the cover. I used Glimmer Paste from Nuvo (Moonstone). The result is a shiny and lovely background.

Then I added some chipboards, die cuts, foam stickers and a bit of gauze to heal wounds for the funny mummy… it’s so fun! Play with all you have.

Time to decorate our mini album!

To make the interior pages you need to glue all patterned papers to every white piece. Choose all you are going to use to decorate and prepare every page. Use all you have to decorate… die cuts, stickers, chipboards, washi tapes, stamps… And don’t forget the new adhesive brads. Play with all you have!

Before cutting the paper and decorating the back of each album cover, prepare a closure with magnets for the album. You will need the pieces of the textured cardstock "Charcoal" paper of 2” w x 3 1/2”. Score them in 1”, 2 1/2”. Glue them together. Remember to add the magnet between the last two layers of paper. Glue the resulting piece on the back and top of the cover of the album. Place the other magnet and glue it in the correct place. After this, you can now cut the patterned paper (choose it from the collection kit) and glue them. Decorate as you like.

Now all that's missing are the photos and the candy!
