Hello there crafty friends! Happy to be back! Celes from GuiadeManualidades.com here to share a lovely project featuring the gorgeous Winter Cottage collection.
Don’t you think that Winter Cottage collection is AMAZING. It’s so sweet and has lovely designs. Thinking about Christmas and December… the last month of this special year… I decided to make a December Daily but in a different and very relaxed way. I didn't want to follow rules, measures to cut papers or any kind of structure. I wanted a basic design and then to have the possibility to play and create with everything I got. Let's enjoy the process and let's put all our feelings in it…
My basic structure is of 6” w x 8” h. I cut 2 pieces of cardboard and covered them with two different design papers.
For the cover:
I used one of the chipboard frames to make a fun shaker. Once the shaker was ready, I started to play with foam stickers, die cuts, self-adhesive brads and chipboards. Besides, I used metal rings and some pink eyelets for every cover. Simple and easy to do son you can add everything you want to your December Daily YAY!
For the interior:
Let’s work in the interior! As we are going to work in it everyday, just prepare at least 16 basic pages of design paper. If you like, you can make special structures for all of them.
Note: as the album has a 6” w x 8” h structure, you can use the small paper pad for the pages.
The idea for this project is to put pictures, write memories and add any kind of detail you like. Use as much materials as you like, play with watercolors, inks, dies. You can sew or embroider…
I’m using all I have to decorate… die cuts, stickers, chipboards, washi tapes, stamps… everything. Besides, I used some dies from Sizzix to cut snowflakes and I used my cutting machine to cut other designs . Play with everything you have ;)
