Fabulous and fun outdoor LO! The embellies are just fab, I absolutely love your splats, dirt piles, stitching, doodles, the creepie crawlies and earthy colours! A great tribute to helping the community - respect!!
First of all, I am so impressed with your boys for doing some things for the community. Kudos to them. Secondly, what a terrific double you made. The page design is fabulous as is the paper choice. Wonderful accents as well. Did I mention I like this double? :)
Love everything on this 2 page layout!! Really like the colors of paper you used and all of the embellies, etc., that Sarah suggested are perfect. Love those hand cut rocks on the top that you added. Wonderful to see a company and their employee's do work for a community who could use some help.
Journaling reads: On January 17, 2017, all three of you boys (Joshua, Adam & Benjamin) participated in a work day for an underprivileged community in southwest Atlanta. Your boss, Ward, told you that you could go and help in this community garden for Martin Luther King Day, or you could stay at the office and work. Surprisingly, everyone opted to go work in the garden. Your company, Airtight Design, was assigned the task of moving these huge rocks into place. The group photo has all the employees and a few extra people. From L-R back row: Ward, Brown, Joshua, Dave, Adam, Benjamin, Charlie, Ryan & Will From L-R front row: Rob, Jack, Khalil, Michelle, Michelle’s boyfriend, Jessica, Ryan’s ex-girlfriend, & a guy who worked at the garden
First of all, I have to give my DD Sarah credit for helping me finish these pages. I got stuck when it came time to embellish and she came up with some great ideas for placement and embellies and stamping. The pp is some old Chatterbox paper, except for the rock pp. I fussy cut some of the rock pp to make the top border. The stitching lines were made with a Sew Easy and then stitched in white. The embellies are by Simple Stories, Grossman stickers, Catherine Pooler Sequins and assorted others from my stash. The stamps were some I got on Amazon - no name on them. The ink was Dusty Durango by Stampin' Up. The hand doodling was done with a Zig chocolate marker. Thanks so much for taking a look and have a great day :)
