Give a Cheer
Mixed media card: New note finished up last night. This one was made with new stamp set I got from Aall and Create #208 Hexagonal Tiles. I love the shape of hexagons and my daughter requested a more sunset colored note with oranges, sand and reds. I used some Lindy's magicals flat ones from the "grease set" which is the reddish color, some prima color bloom spray and distress ink/crayon for the dark sand color. The flower is something I made awhile back using Lindy's magicals, old book paper, embossing folder, and some distress ink. It happened to match the sand color really well so I decided to use it. The hexagons in the background are embossed resist with white powder. Not sure why some of the color die some of the powder but it really created a cool effect. I also used a Aall and create stencil that is hexagons with some paper texture paste. Really like how this one turned out.
