Journaling reads: One of Jerry’s favorite things to do is go to City Park and walk. For months he had not been able to do this, because his arms would begin to ache after just a few minutes of walking. After having his surgery around the end of January, he was finally able to go on a good, long walk. He really enjoyed this walk with me, Sarah and Benjamin, even though I was constantly telling him not to overdo and asking if he was okay. I am so thankful for God’s healing…

I didn't tell the whole story in the journaling on this page. Jerry had hidden his symptoms from me for about six months, until I started to notice that he was really slowing down in what he was able to do. He had three major (95%-99%) blockages in his LAD artery and had surgery to put in stents in late January. It was amazing how quickly he got his energy back after the surgery.
What a year it's been since all this happened! We managed to stay healthy and avoid COVID for a whole year. As I post this, we are still fighting the effects of COVID. I am doing fairly well, just an annoying cough and a little congestion. Jerry, however, is now fighting pneumonia. He seems to be getting a little better each day and we are praying again for a miracle and recovery.

I wanted this layout to kind of take you along on our walk with us. The pps are by American Crafts - Mayberry. The lettering is assorted from my stash. The little feet and grass are stamped on. The curved parts of the path were cut using a Coluzzle template - large oval. Lastly, I added a few sticker flowers, bugs and trees. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend.
