Hi Friends, Today I'm sharing a Valentine Tag and Card I created for my partner Peggy Giovanni in Elizabeth's Valentine Tag Swap here at SB. The tag and card are both oversized at 5x9. I tried my hand at the new foam material for making handmade flowers and love how they came out. The foam has that "real feel" to it, so soft and realistic to the touch. I'm hooked! The tag flowers were so simple to make, just heat the foam and it shrinks and curls on its own, easy peasy! Both the card and tag have Renea Bouquet's Cherub treated with Wink of Stella to give it some sparkle. I also added RBs sweet pea butterflies and double hearts to the tag. I used Prima Bloom Sprays on the tag frame and highlighted the raised embossing with a white paint pen. The inside of the card has a shutter mechanism that pulls away from the center to reveal the sentiment. The tag sentiment reads: Friends are like stars, you cant always see them, but you know they are there. My apologies for the super bright "hot" pink, but my camera does exaggerate the color saturation somewhat. IRL it's a deep but more subtle pink. Thanks for dropping by and having a peek!
