Sharing a card I made for Jess for her birthday! This was patterned after a beautiful card I saw on Pinterest from http://tatterednestdesigns.com/an-elegant-birthday/. I inked up a large stamp I have with Tim Holtz Black Soot and stamped it on the flat side of the TH 3D Botanical embossing folder and squirted it lightly with water before running it through the Big Shot using watercolor paper. Unfortunately I misted too much so the image smeared but I like the end result anyway! I then rubbed Walnut Stain, Frayed Burlap and Pumice Stone over the raised edges and around the perimeter. Next, I diecut the TH Wildflower Stems and colored them up with several TH distress ink pads (listed below). I used Zing Clear embossing powder on the flowers and tied them with twine from Carri (Caletts). Thank you, my friend!

I diecut the TH Stacked Baroque and inked it with the Walnut Stain and Pumice Stone again inking the edge with W.S. I then splattered water on it lightly. Stamped the border (Teresa Collins Everyday Moments) and used foam underneath to raise it up. Stamped HB on a scrap and inked and raised it up with foam dots also. After I completed putting it together I sprayed with TH Distress Mica Spray in Tarnished Brass.

Glitter paper is Paper Studio's Glam Glitter Pastel Solids. Card base is P.S. Parchment.

Thank you so much for visiting my gallery! I hope this card inspires you to try something out of your comfort zone.

The next pictures shows the jewelry I made for Jess.
