Well you know I am going to have to argue about being one of the cutest dogs on the planet because I have my 3 rugrats to contend with lol. I love the angle of Oskar's photo on your lap it really makes this page unique and gives quite the idea of what it's like to be a lap dog haha. I didn't know you even have a pond! Girl you really have quite the property! It is a lovely photo of your frozen world. Incredible chilly but warm page girl! fave
Beautiful layout, the base paper is pretty and I like how you layered the matched paper on top and turned the corner down on the printed paper, precious photo and great use of a tag and pretty snowflakes
Wonderful LO! Love your hot and cold pics and the perfect paper choices for this design. Crazy temperatures, snuggling up seems the best option. In my neck of the woods, the UK, it is raining (again!), so with our current temperatures in the low 50s it is positively tropical here.....
18"? Ouch! On the upside, it does look pretty. And on a further upside, it sure is snuggling weather... That temp is unbelievable...
Love your paper choices, along with the die cut and layered snowflakes and the pretty trim on your journaling tag...
I need to adjust the journaling in the top left corner because the black ink isn't showing up on that dark blue paper. I have a white Signo pen somewhere -- I need to rustle it up and I think that, assuming that the ink still flows, will fix things right up. The corner reads - 2 degrees, -35 wind chill, February 14, 2021.
That's my backyard in the bottom picture, looking out across my "soon to become outdoor arena" into the back pasture where the pond is sitting under 18" of snow down in that low spot way back in the back. There are no tracks - nothing is moving. It's too cold for man or beast.
My beast - my little 25 pound schnauzer - has the warmest seat in the house, curled up in my lap on top of my warm fleece throw. Except, now that I think about it, MY seat is probably the warmest in the house because I'm sitting under the fleece AND 25 pounds of warm schnauzer. Either way, it's warm inside, and we are both content which is exactly as it should be on a frigidly cold Sunday in February.
This is for the Scraplift your Favorites challenge. I lifted Jill's "Mother and Daughter" layout which you can see here ...
