I need to adjust the journaling in the top left corner because the black ink isn't showing up on that dark blue paper. I have a white Signo pen somewhere -- I need to rustle it up and I think that, assuming that the ink still flows, will fix things right up. The corner reads - 2 degrees, -35 wind chill, February 14, 2021.

That's my backyard in the bottom picture, looking out across my "soon to become outdoor arena" into the back pasture where the pond is sitting under 18" of snow down in that low spot way back in the back. There are no tracks - nothing is moving. It's too cold for man or beast.

My beast - my little 25 pound schnauzer - has the warmest seat in the house, curled up in my lap on top of my warm fleece throw. Except, now that I think about it, MY seat is probably the warmest in the house because I'm sitting under the fleece AND 25 pounds of warm schnauzer. Either way, it's warm inside, and we are both content which is exactly as it should be on a frigidly cold Sunday in February.

This is for the Scraplift your Favorites challenge. I lifted Jill's "Mother and Daughter" layout which you can see here ...

I rotated her image 90 degrees to the left and used that flower border to create a snowfall down the right side of my project.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at what is, IMO, the cutest dog on the planet.
