What a great card! I have those vintage dolls but had no idea how to incorporate them into anything - and now I feel inspired to dig them out and try. The metal gate is fabulous - never seen them in the stores. It's now in my wish list cart!
I didn't really know where I was going with this card when I first picked out the baseboard doll from Tim Holtz. I decided to use his paper collection called Abandoned behind the girl and since it looked like she was propping her arm on something I went with his metal gate. Then I grabbed a frame that the gate fit in perfectly. I dug through a plastic box where I've had stuff for years and found those two beaded stems I made a very long time ago along with corn silk I kept from our garden a few years back.
The girl's dress started out white and I decided to color it in with TH Aged Mahogany distress ink pad by tapping it onto my craft sheet, misting with water and painting it on. Makes it look like watercolor! I like how that turned out.
Thanks to Kelly (KVRLVN) for the light green leaf die cut.
Butterfly is Reneabouquets. Oh, I also added a TH Small Talk sticker inking it in a bit with Aged Mahogany also so it wasn't stark white.
The card base is paper from Hobby Lobby. I stamped a border around it. I don't remember the brand of stamp. Most likely Fiskars.
