There's journaling on the pull-up tab...summarizing:
My mom is such a strong and amazing woman....she grew up in post-War Japan, often with little to eat...there were many tragedies in her life - her mother died when she was 3, she nearly drowned when a riptide swept her away, she was kidnapped by a traveling circus, her very accomplished sister died of an overdose....but she held on to her dreams. She was the runner up for Miss Nagasaki (her home town), she studied ballet and dressmaking...Later, she married a foreigner (!) and moved to a whole new world (NYC); became a Master in tea ceremony and flower arrangement; raised (an amazing LOL) child; and had many incredible moments and experiences.
