wow! What a cool adventure and a nice scrapbook page to remember it by. Love the hint of the "burlap". Don't know how you did that....Paint on burlap? It is cool no matter how you achieved it. It was fun reading about your kayak ride.
The water looks so serene and still - so pretty! Serene is a great title! I love the left side with the background paper with the anchors and the red gives it a nice splash of color!
Another page for DS's weekend kayak trip June 2017. I had done this page at the beginning of March but held it until Maria sent some kayak die cuts for me. They didn't work on this page - as I technically had finished it but will be used on others!
Journaling:Day 3 found us up early and packing in the mist of the morning. We knew that to catch the tide and currents right we needed to be on the water by 9am. After breakfast we loaded up the boats and pushed off the land and on to the smooth as glass, Bellingham Channel. We headed south towards the SW corner of Guemes Island. We crossed over the channel with our head lamps on as the fog was thick but the conditions were smooth. We then turned south to cross over Guemes Channel. We found hardly anyone out on the water.
