Had carpel tunnel surgery because the numbness and tingling got so bad I couldn't sleep or stay in one position for any length of time. Woke up from surgery and knew he had fixed it. While in there, he also removed some problem tissue from Rheaumatoid arthritis. I had made the small yellow/orange scripture piece about a year ago but didn't use it on that project, so since he is the only hand specialist on the panhandle of Florida, AND he loves bright colors, I knew it was meant for him. Painted a wood plaque with black gesso, used various stencil and stamps on some water color paper, used Glossy Accents on the heart, and Dina Wakley gloss sprays for the splatter. Torn fabric for the hanger and the ribbon on the tag by the bird is just white seam binding dyed with yellow and orange (I made a ton in various colors so I can add a bit when I need it and I dont have to wait for it to dry). Dina Wakley paints used & watering can (gray ink) for the background script stamp. Used a white uniball pen to outline leaves, etc. I also used white glossy spray from the nozzle on the sun to make rings.
Hope everyone's doing well!
Debbie
