Photo taken soon after their wedding. Grandma was a war widow and was later a war-time pen pal. Grandpa was one of her pen pals and courted her. When he left the Navy, they “dated” and married in 1948. Before moving to their forever home on Bryan Avenue, they lived on Grant Street in Easthampton, MA.
