Hi Crafty Friends,

It's Conny here sharing a 12 by 12 layout using the Simple Vintage Farmhouse Garden Collection. Such a beautiful collection, so versatile. This layout was so much fun to create, quick and simple. I wanted to document this photo of us together- we barely get those, all the elements in this collection called for this photo.

Let's get started.

The background of this paper is already so beautiful, mixed media without doing mixed media. I wanted to add a little more by adding some Liquitex - Gesso to the background with the Chicken wire stencil, and after that dried, I blended pink lemonade and honeycomb hybrid inks.
It looks like it's part of the background!

After, I matted my photo on papers that I picked from the six-by-eight paper pad and distressed a few pages. Then started building clusters around the picture with the Stickers from the sticker book, cardstock stickers, layered stickers, and foam stickers - they all bring a different look and texture.

Then I added a few decorative brads, butterflies to each corner of the layout. I wanted a bold title - bold to represent what we are. A family, my family- Our family together!
